VOLUNTEER
The Promise Church wouldn't happen without volunteers. It's that simple! We take 1
Corinthians 12 seriously when it says that God has gifted different people in the church
with different abilities to use for the common good. The truth is that we all need each
other, and one of the main ways that we serve one another is through using our spiritual
gifts and natural abilities. We believe everyone should volunteer in some aspect at The
Promise. So check out the information and pray about where God wants you to dig in!
VOLUNTEER TEAMS
Levities: Purpose is to create an environment that is functional and appealing so that
people will be encouraged to worship God by properly setting up and taking down
equipment.
Signs: Purpose is to direct guests and build community awareness by strategically placing
signs every Saturday and removing them after each service.
Ushers, Greeters, and Hosts: Purpose is to create a caring environment by ensuring
that all guests are greeted, seated, given any necessary information, and answering
questions for guests.
Refreshments: Purpose is to impress guest by setting up refreshment table, serving
guests courteously, and cleaning up after service.
Sound Technician Team: Purpose is to encourage the spiritual growth of attendees by
making available necessary resources, and to promote a positive worship environment by
being attentive to the quality of sound being experienced in the worship service.
