About Pastor Maceo Smedley

Maceo Smedley is the Founding and Lead Pastor of The Promise
Church in Houston. Since 2007, The Promise Church has grown from
eight members to many families in weekend attendance! This ground
breaking church sees the majority of its growth coming from new
believers and people renewing their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Pastor Smedley holds a degree in Economics and Marketing from The
University of Houston. He has studied at the College of Biblical Studies
as well as Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition to
preaching internationally, he has been the keynote speaker at
banquets, youth retreats, and school programs. His voice has touched
many lives with a message of hope, restoration, and responsibility.
